A short walk (400m) will take you to Manyana Beach a haven for family fun. Pet Friendly, Surfing, Dolphin spotting etc or Green Island, where surfers will find one of the best lefts. Enjoy a peaceful swim in the crystal clear waters of Lake Conjola Estuary or a snorkel, a kayak, or fishing etc This really is the gem of the area as it is like a giant swimming pool that caters for all ages and abilities.
There are also many lovely uncrowded secluded spots on the water's edge for those who are looking for peace and privacy.
Less than 5 minutes drive will take you to Inyadda Beach another surf beach and beautiful part of the coast or a little further to Bendalong that has many beaches and bays to explore. Our Favourites are Washerwomans & Dee Beach. Nature lovers, or those with children will love watching or feeding the Stingrays around Boat Ramp Bay.
There are plenty of fishing spots. For those bringing their boat/surf ski, Cunjurong Point, Bendalong and Lake Conjola all have a boat ramps or you can charter a boat at Ulladulla.
The local shop is 200m walk providing newspapers & basic groceries. It is also a Take Away selling yummy Hamburgers and Fish & Chips etc. Bendalong Shop has a wider range of Groceries, Bottle Shop, Petrol, ATM etc It also has Take Away hot food.
Historic Milton is the closest larger town, very crafty with lots of little Boutique shops also Newsagent/Chemist/Hospital/Pubs/Cafe's/Supermarket etc
Explore the coast on the way to Milton - Lake Conjola, & Fishermans Paradise or head further, past Mollymook Beach to the main town of Ulladulla.
There are many great bush walking tracks around the area for all levels of fitness. Conjola National Park features extensive forests beside beautiful lakes and estuaries, and large areas of woodland and heath that become a mass of wildflowers in spring. There are picnic areas and walking tracks at Lake Conjola Inlet, Monument Beach and Fishermans Rock, and a picnic area on the shores of Swan Lake at the end of Goonawarra Drive. We love taking our kids to Pointer Gap Lookout an easy and fun bush walk with breathtaking views at the end. For those looking for more adventure allow at least 3 hours and walk Pigeon Mountain.
It is also worth the drive to beautiful Jervis Bay National Park - Have some lunch and a swim - stunning.
